We are talking to everyone, literally. There have been so many miracles because of it. We have met so many truth seekers. On Friday we met so many people . It was crazy! It was a beautiful day and so many people were happy. Shoot! I was HAPPY! These past few weeks I have been extremely happy, more than usual. Just being a random goof ball, smiling and laughing. So we met this one kid, so neat, as we spoke to him he felt the Spirit testify to him that what we were saying was true. He is craving for direction in his life and happiness. He turned to the worldly things for answers, however, he found so much hope and faith as we were talking to him. I shared with him a scripture found in the Book of Mormon in Moroni 7:41 ( it has become one of my favorite scriptures lately) It talks about what we should hope in which is the Atonement of Jesus Christ and his resurrection, all this according to our faith in this promise. It is a PROMISE!
Sunday was a great day! We had Charles come to church and a lady and her son and another lady came because they found our church on line and they want to learn more and keep coming. Another man came to church because we left our card with the church address on it at his door step! Like I said sooooooooooooo many MIRACLES!
Lauren would like to share with friends and family some of her experiences and her testimony of Jesus Christ as she serves in the Washington Everett Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints.
Don't want to miss the "FAV" mission posts

continued
JESSICA still hasn't set a date for baptism, but the lesson with her was excellent! We taught her the Gospel of Jesus Christ, faith, repentance, baptism, recieving the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. It was really neat to see her recognize the power of the Holy Ghost in her life. We will be putting her on date to be baptized this wednesday for sometime in July. Hopefully I will still be here. Transfers are next week. Wow time flies!!
BEN still has no date for his baptism. ( waiting on others he wants to attend) Ben is so prepared and is such a faithful young man.

Miracles all week,continued
Often in lessons with him the Spirit is strong but he has a hard time recognizing it. He is a very logical thinker and tends to disregard what he is feeling. So we are striving to help him recognize and understand the importance of recognizing the Spirit.
So many miracles !
We had a lesson with RAMESH, a man from Nepal, who came to church with us last Sunday. The lesson went really well. He is craving for truth and understanding. He doesn't have the basic understanding of Christianity. He wants to know more about Jesus Christ and he has so many questions. It's fun teaching him.We also got to teach him how to pray. I think that is one of my favorite things to teach. It is really neat to see people who are humble and who are seeking for truth learn how to communicate with God. Then to hear them pray out loud for the very first time is so humbling and the Spirit is so strong. Their prayers are so sweet, short and to the point. I love those prayers ! They are like a little child's prayer. No wonder God asks us to become as little children.
Happy Father's Day !
There is no better word to describe our week but MIRACLES! (as I thought about Father's Day last Sunday) I was thinking about my father and my Heavenly Father. How grateful I am for my earthly father and my Heavenly Father. I know that I wouldn't be here today serving a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints if it wasn't for them. THANK YOU DAD FOR GIVING ME THE GREATEST GIFT I COULD EVER ASK FOR.

She's loves (cats) She loves being a missionary
I love this work so much! I can't express it in words alone. I am just so grateful for this opportunity! I love the Lord, I love the people, I love this true and everlasting Gospel. I am just a weak young girl with a simple but true testimony. I know that all the blessings that have come or will come and any impact I have had or will have is due to Jesus Christ. He is my strength, my light, and my endurance. The reason that keeps me going even when I am dead tired and I want to fall back asleep. I am just so happy!
