Temple trip Seattle,Washington Temple

Today we went to the Seattle Temple this early morning. It was so nice to be able to feel peace and comfort from being in the temple. It is also a place to remember covenants I've made and to remember the LOVE that our Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father has for us.

I love the promises the Lord gives to us.

In 3Nephi 14:7-8 it reads, " Ask and it shall be given unto you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened." This familiar scripture pierced my heart once again. He promises countless of times if we ask, he will answer! I know this to be true! He hears us and answers our prayers! He'll make things manifest to us by the power of the Holy Ghost. I am a witness of that! He has given us a way to receive answers, we must act and we must have faith. I promise he will answer!

That's me with my companion, Sister Felt on a SOLID foundation.

BUILT UPON THE ROCK

The missionaries
in the Duvall district

Sister Kimball checks out " Duvallians "

The animals of Duvall with Sister Kimball

Just for FUN !!!!

I took the liberty to take a picture of Sisters Kimball and Felt and create a comic strip effect but left the word bubbles blank for the reader to fill in.

February 16th

The Lord knows us, He keeps His promises. I KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE! He answers our prayers. He did for a young boy 14 years of age,Joseph Smith and He has answered mine.
There is no greater joy and happiness that can come to you when founded upon the rock of our Savior Jesus Christ and His restored Gospel and by living the commandments.

Finding Truth...

It is critical to know where to find truth and how you can obtain it and then to be able to recognize the truth. This is what we try to help investigators do to help them seek for truth and to find out the truth for themselves.

valentines day A good day to serve!

We made cupcakes yesterday ( Feb.14,2011).actually, we did sister exchanges yesterday so I went to another area for the day and made the cupcakes with Sister Beckstrand made them. We gave them out to some of the people in the area. They turned out way cute. Oh I wish I took a picture of them. Whoops!

It is the greatest work ever !

Oh I love being a missionary. It is seriously the greatest work ever! I am so happy! It's worth all the trials, afflictions, and need for patience.{LOL} To have one hour with one of God's precious daughters to help her come closer to Him. There is no greater satisfaction.

Oh I love being a missionary.

I want you to know that God is very aware of each and everyone of us! He knows you. He loves you! We are sons and daughters of Him.Each day look at what the Lord has done for you each day. See how you have seen His hand in your life.

STAND A LITTLE TALLER

Sister Kimball shared a most amazing story that happened during a discussion with an 18 yr. old young women. " ...than another idea came into my head to tell her about the book,"STAND A LITTLE TALLER" by President Gordon B. Hinckley{a scripture and spiritual thought a day book). I asked if Sister Cullimore had one and she did!! She got it out and Ashley was flipping through it kind of carelessly. I asked her if she would read today's scripture so she did.NOW IT GETS WAY COOL!!!...Aty this point the spirit is strong in the room and than she reads 'January 29 in the book (with the page title MIRACLE OF CONVERSION) '. The scripture reads,'And according to this faith was a mighty change wrought in his heart.'(Alma 5:12) President Hinckley than wrote'There is no miracle of conversion. It is the great process by which those with resposive hearts listen to the teachings and testimonies of missionaries and change their lives, leaving the past behind them, and moving forward into a new life. There is no miracle quite like it in all the world.' After she read that we all just started crying and laughingand stunned. We sat there for the longest time not saying a word. The spirit was incredibly strong. She was in shock;we all were...she was so happy. She said,'I'll never forget this moment.' She just radiated!..It's miraculous to see lives change!..."
